PJ Snow The Homesmith
PJ Snow has been working in the remodeling business off and on since 1986. A family friend was remodeling a 200 year old farm house across the road from his childhood home. After school he would get off the bus and get to work cleaning up the job site, doing any task that was asked of him. When he moved to Colorado in 1999, he became friends with a General Contractor and began to learn the business of remodeling homes. It was then, when he started to venture out on his own, taking on as many projects as he was able. After several years of working for different contractors, he began working as a superintendent for a large home builder. While working there he oversaw the construction of 150 homes in 2 years. Burned out and laid off during the 2007 market crash, he began working with teenaged boys teaching them basic maintenance skills in a residential treatment facility that housed the residents in 100 year old cabins. A few years later he began to once again acquire work on his own. He decided to get his GC license while also taking on bigger remodels, leading to the founding of The Homesmith.
PJ lives in downtown Colorado Springs with his wife and their dog, Oliver. They enjoy road trips in their VW Van, traveling back to Vermont to visit family, exploring Colorado and fly fishing.
